Refund Policy

Important: Exam purchases made through the CyberExam platform are digital services and are subject to the conditions outlined below. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Principle

Exam rights purchased through the CyberExam platform are digital content and services. Under the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation, they may be exempt from the right of withdrawal. However, our Company undertakes to offer reasonable solutions in the cases specified below.

2. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Used exam rights: No refund is issued for exams that have been started or completed.
  • Expired exam rights: No refund is issued if the usage period of the purchased exam right has expired.
  • Exams cancelled due to rule violations: No refund is issued for exam rights cancelled due to cheating, copying, or violation of the Terms of Use.
  • Failed exam results: Failing an exam does not constitute grounds for a refund.

3. Refundable Cases

Refund requests are evaluated in the following situations:

  • Technical failure: If the exam cannot be started or completed due to a Platform-related technical issue, the exam right will be reassigned or a refund will be issued.
  • Duplicate payment: If multiple payments are charged for the same exam, the excess amount will be refunded.
  • Service unavailability: A full refund will be issued if the purchased service cannot be provided due to reasons attributable to our Company.

4. Refund Request Process

Submit Request

Send your refund request via email to support@cyberexam.io. Please include the email address registered to your account, the purchase date, and the reason for your refund request.

Review

Your request will be reviewed by our support team within 5 business days. Additional information or documentation may be requested if necessary.

Decision Notification

The review outcome will be communicated to you via email. Approved refund requests will proceed to the next step.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method (credit card, bank transfer, etc.) within 10 business days. This period may be extended due to bank processing times.

5. Technical Issues

If you experience a Platform-related technical issue during an exam:

  • Please report it immediately to support@cyberexam.io with detailed information about the issue.
  • Our technical team will investigate the issue and, based on the evidence, will either reassign your exam right or initiate a refund.
  • Technical issues caused by the user (internet connection, computer malfunction, etc.) are not eligible for refund.

6. Promotional and Discounted Purchases

For refund requests related to exam rights purchased at promotional, campaign, or discounted prices, the refund amount will be calculated based on the discounted price actually paid.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Under the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once the performance of digital content and services has begun. Starting to use the exam right (accessing the exam environment) indicates that performance has begun.

For unused (not yet started) exam rights, the right of withdrawal may be exercised within 14 days from the date of purchase. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must submit a written request to our support team.

8. Dispute Resolution

If your refund request is denied, you may apply to the following channels:

  • Consumer Arbitration Committees
  • Consumer Courts
  • Republic of Turkey Ministry of Commerce Consumer Complaint Hotline: ALO 175
